2009 Student Profile!

I'm taking some time out of my regularly scheduled routine to post a little something about a YFU student. This is a student who has excelled in academics and social activities, in order to apply to YFU Thailand, in the hopes of coming to the USA and learning more about Americans and their lifestyle and culture. This is the case with all YFU students who come to the USA. It doesn't really matter who I might spotlight on this blog, because every single YFU student to come to the USA on exchange, comes with an open heart and an open mind.

So, without further introduction...

Siri from Thailand!

Siripon's nickname is Kaew and it's been her dream to come to the US as an exchange student. She wants to touch snow and see how it feels. She and her family in Thailand love to play badminton, cook together, and watch TV shows after dinner. Siri loves to read and play the keyboard. Her favorite foods are pizza, chocolate and ice cream. Her YFU evaluator describes her as a good leader and adaptable. She loves nature and helps plant and take care of a large flower and vegetable garden. In the future, Siri would like to become a dentist. Why? Because everyone should have a beautiful smile. Siri does!!
